Where the hell am I?

I have received numerous emails and IMs asking about my recent hiatus. Here's the short answer:
I have a life outside of the blogosphere.
Between classes and events and personal projects and a rather unfortunate computer failure, I haven't been able to update as much as I'd like.
But I really do appreciate all the love that's been sent my way.
Therefore, I PROMISE, by next week, I will get y'all a quality post.
And regular updates will begin again.
Yee-ha!

PostSecret

The one site everyone needs to see is PostSecret. People send a MD man postcards revealing their deepest secret that they've never told anyone. They range from being Mexican and hating Mexican food to masturbating all day to not loving their children to cheating on spouses and taxes. All are anonymous and all are displayed on their little 4x6 piece of art and every Sunday, he posts a few for the world to see.
At the end of reading them all?
You don't feel ashamed of your own secrets. You don't feel disgusted by others'.
You just feel a bit more human...
and that the strangers you pass on the street...
are a bit more human too.

I'm not kinky.

Two notes:
First, I got a whip. HOORAY! Everytime I take it out, I feel like I need to wear a shirt that says "I'm not kinky" on it.

Two, there was a shooting behind my apartment building last night. Around midnight, this guy got shot in the ass. He's doing fine, but I'd lie if I said it wasn't somewhat disturbing.
